Obtaining an EPC Certificate
An accredited energy assessor will have to be hired to get an Epc Certificate who will come to your house to assess its energy usage and rank it accordingly. Different aspects taken into consideration include the type of construction; heating systems; insulation materials as well as lighting systems amongst others. Finally, once complete the assessor will give you an Energy Performance Certificate which has to be included when listing properties.
