He founded Campus Edge Baseball in 2025 and built a premium college baseball recruiting platform and advisory service that provides personalized guidance to student-athletes nationwide. He created a proprietary recruiting system that includes athlete profiles, a coach and school database, school-match applications, and a recruiting strategy matrix. As CEO, he oversees sales, marketing, website development, social media, client onboarding, coach relationships, analytics, financial tracking, video optimization, and NCAA compliance. He also works closely with top baseball showcase events and maintains relationships with D1, D2, D3, and JUCO coaches to improve clients' recruiting opportunities through data-driven outreach and engagement strategies.

In addition to this work, he serves as an analyst at Woods Capital. He is the founder and principal of SJM Sports, where he advises investors, private equity firms, and ownership groups on sports assets, acquisitions, and operational strategy.

His interest in baseball grew after reading Moneyball as a teenager, which sparked a lasting fascination with the analytical side of the game. During his four years at Swarthmore College, he played on the baseball team and received the 2012 Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Award. He also spent two years as Assistant Director at the Complete Game Institute, where he managed the Pitching Biomechanics Facility, organized pitching camps, and worked with high-speed video technology.

His early professional experience included internships with the New York Mets, Turner-Gary Sports, and the Detroit Tigers. At Turner-Gary Sports, he worked in Baseball Operations, assisted with salary arbitration and free-agent strategy, analyzed market trends, and designed the agency’s website. In 2012, he joined the Detroit Tigers as an intern and contributed to arbitration preparation, negotiation analysis, free-agent recommendations, and trade evaluations.

He remained with the Detroit Tigers for 14 years, advancing from intern to analyst, coordinator, director, and ultimately VP and Assistant General Manager in 2021 at age 31. In that role, he led teams across scouting, medical, performance, and player experience functions. He played a significant role in player acquisitions, contract negotiations, salary arbitration matters, and more than $100 million in capital investment initiatives. He also served as the interim club point of contact during a leadership transition.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Psychology from Swarthmore College and studied abroad in Rome, Italy. He is currently completing an Executive Master of Business Administration at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business and is expected to graduate in 2027. Raised in Westbury, New York, he attended Friends Academy High School.
