 After extensive testing in Nuketown domination and Kill Confirmed I can say with confidence that not only is this weapon back, it may even be better than it was before. This weapon is the best in the game, whether you're a player who wants to kill 100+ people or just a casual gamer trying to survive.

 This is something that you don't hear often in COD today: You do not need to use attachments with this gun.

 I was able to jump into my first match against a Level 1 naked Maddox. No grip, no vision, nothing. What was the result? I dropped 106 kills, and then called in a tactical Nuke.

 What does it mean to you?

 This means you can avoid the tedious leveling-up phase, where your gun usually kicks like an mule.

 Visuals: The iron sights are ready to use immediately.

 Even without a front grip, the beam remains steady.

 Hacking Accusations: My gun was so accurate that my opponents were convinced that I was hacking the wall in my first match. Even my teammates thought I was an AI, because I never missed.

 We want to transform the monster base gun into a classic laser beam from BO4. Here is the ultimate setup after unlocking all of the items. You will notice that I do not use a barrel. We don't need to improve the range; just focus on speed and handling.

 ELO Sight

 This is a must-have if you've played BO4. Iron sights are fine, but ELO provides a crystal-clear image for snapping on targets.

 Underbarrel: EM Stud 90 Grip

 It's the sweet spot. This gives you the ability to control horizontal recoil (making your gun shoot straight), while also increasing your sprinting speed. You become harder to hit and your shots remain accurate.

 Magazine: 50 Rounds Extended Mag

 Here's a secret: the 50-round magazine currently has no cons. No movement penalty, no reload penalty. You can get free ammunition.

 Alternative: If you're a reloading addict, Plumage Fast mag (40 rounds) would be a good choice. However, I prefer to have the additional 10 bullets in case of multiple kills.

 Rear Grip : Mobile Quickdraw Grip

 It brings back the snappy feel. It boosts your ADS and slide-to-fire speeds. You can play aggressively, and still win gunfights, even if caught sprinting.

 Stock: ADS Movement Stock

 This will increase your strafe (walking aim) speed. This allows you to dance from left to right in a gunfight.

 Combat reality: Surviving Ghost Meta

 The best gun does not make you invincible. I found that the Ghost and Scout Perk combination was the greatest threat to your streak.

 When I first earned my HARP, I discovered that Ghost was completely invisible.

 You will die if you only rely on your minimap.

 It happened to me that I would think a lane had cleared because my HARP (Hardware Access Point) was on, but then I'd get shot by a ghosted opponent. Instead of blindly chasing the red dots, you should use your eyes and sense of game (Squad Link can help here).

 Gung-Ho is essential for reloading when sprinting from danger.

 The Nuke Story - A Lesson on Resilience

 Let me show you the final match of my Kill Confirmed game to prove that this loadout is effective under pressure.

 I was sitting next to a Brutal medal (25 kills) and five steps away from a Nuke. The enemy suddenly called in a guard dog. You'll know that these dogs are like tanks if you played BO7.

 The dog chased across the map. I used the Maddox’s superior movement to slide-cancel, turn, and dump half a magazine into the dog.

 We build for mobility

 The dog would have killed my if I had built the gun for range. I was able to survive because I had built the gun for speed. I killed the dog and flipped the spawn. I also secured the Nuke's final kill.

 FAQ: Common Questions

 Q: Does it really perform better than BO4?

 A: Honestly, yes. The BO7 mag is more forgiving because the hit registration feels sharper and there are no downsides to the 50-round magazine.

 Q: Why is there no barrel attachment?

 A: The Maddox already strikes hard. A barrel will slow down your aim-down sight (ADS). When you use it as a hybrid SMG/AR, this gun is at its best. Do not sacrifice agility to get a little range boost.

 Q: What happens if I haven't got the ELO yet?

 Then grind through the levels. Iron sights can be used (better than many), but it is the ELO that unlocks the full potential of the gun as an aim-bot.
