Monopoly go Dig Event Guide | U4GM Player Tips

Players opening Monopoly Go on August 10 may still see discussions about Barnyard Treasures, but the event itself is no longer active. That gap between a recent event and the next one is where many players waste dice, especially after seeing old screenshots or recycled schedules. I use this downtime to review my Monopoly Go Stickers collection, finish daily objectives, and rebuild a dice cushion rather than chase an event that has already closed. Barnyard Treasures ran from August 3 through August 7, and no confirmed Treasures activity is currently listed for today.

Why Barnyard Treasures Felt Different

Barnyard Treasures replaced the usual board grind with a compact excavation puzzle. Players collected Pickaxes from other activities, then spent them on grid boards containing hidden pieces of treasure. Each square revealed part of an object, a reward, or empty space, so the event rewarded patience more than rapid tapping. Early boards were forgiving, but later levels punished random choices because a small Pickaxe supply could disappear before the required shapes were complete.

The format also created a useful change of pace. Standard Monopoly Go progression is driven by dice, property upgrades, and milestone points, while Treasures added a visual problem-solving layer. The two systems were still closely connected, though. Dice were needed to advance solo events and tournaments, those activities supplied Pickaxes, and Pickaxes unlocked the best Treasures rewards. Players who treated the digging board as a separate feature often reached the middle stages with too little event currency.

The Resource Chain Matters More Than the Board

Barnyard Treasures overlapped with the Clucking Riches solo event, which offered 181 Pickaxes across its 62 milestones and 18,215 dice rolls for a complete run. The full track required 51,635 points, making it a serious investment rather than a casual side objective. In practice, the strongest approach was to set a stopping point before rolling. Milestones 31, 38, 43, 48, 56, and 62 provided useful checkpoints, but pushing from one checkpoint to the next was only worthwhile when the dice cost matched the reward.

For most players, the early and middle sections offered the best balance. Casual accounts could collect enough Pickaxes to clear several boards without draining their reserve. Larger accounts had more reason to pursue the late dice rewards, especially the 5,000-roll prize at milestone 62. That does not make the complete track automatically correct; it depends on the strength of the current dice economy and the other events running at the same time.

How to Prepare Before the Next Dig Event

Complete Quick Wins every day so small currency and dice rewards accumulate before the event begins.
Collect daily gifts and timed rewards instead of leaving them unclaimed during a short event window.
Keep a reserve for overlapping tournaments, since spending everything on one track can weaken the next opportunity.
Use larger dice multipliers when target tiles are grouped together, and lower settings when useful landing spaces are scattered.
Study each treasure's shape before selecting squares. Visual clues cannot reveal every location, but they can reduce wasteful guesses.

What Players Should Expect Next

There is no reliably confirmed name or launch time for the next Monopoly Go digging event as of August 10. The safest signal is an event panel inside the game showing a start timer, a Pickaxe reward path, and a clear closing time. Unused Pickaxes from Barnyard Treasures should not be treated as permanent currency, since this type of resource is normally tied to its specific activity. When the next Treasures board appears, players with saved dice, completed daily tasks, and a clear milestone target will have far more control over their progression. If your collection needs a specific boost before then, Monopoly Go Stickers buy options can help you complete sets and keep building momentum.
